Due to the repair of a wastewater line, expect delays on Cesar Chavez between Colorado and IH-35. Due to the high volume of traffic at Cesar Chavez and Brazos Street, considerable congestion can be expected. Those who are able to do so are strongly encouraged to avoid this section of Cesar Chavez.
PHASE ONE
9:00 am, June 16 to 11:59 pm, June 19
Westbound Cesar Chavez will be reduced to one lane between Red River and Colorado.
One left-hand turn lane from eastbound Cesar Chavez onto Brazos will be closed.
Eastbound traffic will not be able to turn left onto Trinity.

PHASE TWO
12:01 am, June 20 to 7 p.m, June 21
Westbound Cesar Chavez will be reduced to one lane between Red River and Colorado.
Eastbound traffic will not be able to turn left onto Trinity or Red River.

PHASE THREE
7pm June 21 to 5am June 23
Cesar Chavez from Trinity to Colorado will be fully open.
Westbound Cesar Chavez will be reduced to one lane between IH35 and Trinity.
