Note from the DAA:

The City of Austin continues to discuss options for and gather feedback on urban rail. Members of the community will have several opportunities to learn more about the urban rail project during month of December.
We urge you to participate in these meetings as your schedule allows.

City Council Update: December 10 , 10:30 a.m.
At 10:30 am, Transportation Department Director Rob Spillar will update City Council on urban rail planning efforts. Council will also consider a proposal to hire a preliminary engineering consultant.

CAMPO Transit Working Group: December 14 , 10 a.m.
CAMPO's Transit Working Groups will meet at 10:00 a.m. in City Council chambers. Rob Spillar will again present an update on urban rail planning. Working Group members will also discuss the MetroRail commuter line.

Urban Rail Open House: Monday, December 14, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
The Austin Transportation Department invites you to an Urban Rail Open House. Come learn about the proposed Urban Rail project to serve Central Austin and how you can participate in the process.
