Baby Bloomers

Location: Austin Children's Museum
Program for children ages 3 & younger & their caregivers. Discover the exhibits and play in a relaxed atmosphere with other families with small children when the Museum is open exclusively for this age group. Storytime 9:30am; Sing-a-long 10:30am; The Little Explorer’s Lab 11:00am. Price includes Museum admission. Every Monday 9 am to noon. $4-$8 per parent/child couple

Play it By Ear

Location: Austin Children's Museum
Listen … can you hear it? Bam, whiz, pow! Come explore the art and science of tinkering with sound in our new feature exhibit. Bring to life artworks created by sound artists. Make your own sound art. Experiment with echoes. Change your voice to sound like a robot. This exhibit takes a creative, playful approach to learning all about sound production and reception.
Date of event: Opens January 19. Runs through September 14, 2008.
