By becoming a DANA Member you’ll be supporting an organization dedicated to keeping our downtown Austin neighborhood clean, safe, walkable, vibrant, diverse, cultural, and fun!
DANA keeps you informed and involved. Plus, it’s a great way to stay in touch with over 2,000 other individuals that have an interest in living, working, and playing downtown.
DANA offers three levels of Membership (please note, we no longer offer household memberships):
- Individual ($25.00)
- Business Sponsor ($100.00) This Business Sponsor level includes a full listing on the DANA Sponsor page including logo, marketing information (250 word max), and a link to your website. Plus, your logo with link will appear on our rotating homepage banner. The Business Sponsor membership allows for three (3) names on the membership.
- Non-Profit Sponsor ($50.00) The Non-Profit Business Sponsorship level includes a full listing on the DANA Sponsor page including logo, marketing information (250 word max), and a link to your website. Plus, your logo with link will appear on our rotating homepage banner. The Non-Profit Business Sponsorship membership allows for three (3) names on the membership.
You can pay by Check, Credit card or PayPal by selecting one of the membership types listed above.
You do not have to live downtown to join DANA, but only members that live downtown are eligible to vote in Board elections.
Members will typically receive 2 emails from DANA each month, a newsletter and a special Urban Core Happy Hour Invite.

DANA is a strong, influential voice for the residents of downtown that many, including the City of Austin, developers, retailers and others seek out and regard.
DANAtakes action for our Members. We monitor and proactively attempt to resolve issues affecting downtown residents by serving on numerous boards, task forces and committees focused on downtown.
DANA supports downtown Austin through charitable giving. In the year 2009 alone, we donated over $18,000 to other non-profits involved with downtown living, including the Wooldridge Square Centennial, Humanities Texas, Ballet Austin, the Paramount and State Theaters, and the Urban Candidate Forum to name a few.
DANA keeps you involved by promoting downtown volunteer opportunities, community forums and social activities.
DANA celebrates our Members by throwing our popular Urban Core Happy Hours ten times a year. If you have never attended one of these you are missing out on a great monthly opportunity to mingle with the DANA Board and other members, all while partaking in food and beverages at some of the coolest bars, restaurants and retailers in Austin.
