2013-10-21-Affordable-Housing-Letter

Join Us Tuesday 10/1! East 6th Street Improvements Project Open House

Tuesday, October 1, 2013: 11am-1pm or 5pm-7pm
Location: St. David’s Episcopal Church – Crail Hall C, 301 E. 8th Street, 78701 (map)

City-of-austin-public-works

As part of the broader efforts of the Downtown Austin Plan, East Sixth Street will be changing for the better, and the City wants to hear from YOU, downtown stakeholders, about the preliminary design proposal for the area – a design that will contemplate wider sidewalks, improved streetscapes, better accessibility and signage solutions, all while maintaining historic sensitivity to the district.

The City of Austin Public Works Department is holding an open house to unveil the City’s preliminary design of East 6th Street based on previous feedback. A brief presentation will kick off each of the open houses.

A healthy East 6th Street Historic & Entertainment District is a vital component of our Downtown human experience and urban fabric, so we strongly encourage all DANA members to attend and provide feedback!
